As part of an update/specialist knowledge session of Business Circle, on 21 February 2017, KNOETZL partners Bettina Knötzl and Katrin Hanschitz will be lecturing on the issues facing Chairpersons in General Assemblies.  Critical issues include — in particular — decisions on the admission of shareholders to the shareholders meeting, decisions on voting rights and decisions on the right to speak. The lecture will include an analysis of the potential consequences for the Chairperson (especially considering the question of person liability) and the corporation, if they fail to deal with this issues successfully. This session is geared toward assisting Chairpersons in dealing with these issues as they arise in the Shareholders Meeting and to give them a greater understanding of the consequences of their decisions.
