KNOETZL is Proud Sponsor of the 2018 Joint ASAB40 – DIS40 – ARBIT – YAAP Summer Retreat
Promoting and nurturing the next generation of legal talents is a strong passion for KNOETZL. On July 13-14, the Young Austrian Arbitration Practitioners (YAAP) will hold a practice building Summer Retreat on The Art of Persuasion in cooperation with ASAB40, DIS40 and ARBIT near Berlin, Germany. KNOETZL is happy to support the brilliant minds of tomorrow as a main sponsor.
More than 60 participants from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy are expected to attend the event that takes place for the second time this year and is co-hosted by YAAP. Partner Patrizia Netal, who is also a co-chair of YAAP, as well as Natascha Tunkel and Elisabeth Rath of KNOETZL’s arbitration team will be on-site to meet with colleagues and friends from the arbitration community.
Under the guidance of arbitration experts and presentation specialists, the retreat will cover the following topics in interactive workshops:
• Effective witness examination
• Tech tools and presentation skills 2.0
• Vocal expression
Of course, all the hard work needs to be rewarded with some fun. The retreat will kick-off with a get-together Thursday evening in Berlin before getting started with the various sessions Friday morning at Landgut Stober. The young minds will recap their day at a joint dinner. On Saturday, the participants will embark on a bike tour to Ribbeck Castle after a brief Saturday morning session with lively debates on legal news from Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
